I had a visit on the 1st of

November from Mrs. Selwyn-Clarke, wife of the Director of Medical Services, Hong Kong. She has been released from internment in Hong Kong with her small daughter, and her present address is

c/o Mrs. Melville,

Hither Northfield, Steep,

Petersfield, Hants.

Mrs. Selwyn-Clarke referred to a

report by Mr. Angus on the Medical Administration in Hong Kong from December (Christmas Day) 1941 to May 1943, on which latter date her husband and his medical assistants were imprisoned by the Japanese. She told me that Mr. Gimson had a copy which he was going to give to the C.0. and enquired whether we had received it. Mrs. Selwyn-Clarke herself also has a copy and if desired will send it to us should we care to take a copy.

Se Gant.
